Steve has dedicated his career to working with some of the most vulnerable and challenging children and young people in the UK. Starting his career in a young offenders prison and moving on to work in children’s homes into roles including Registered Manager, Responsible Individual and Director. Steve is passionate about providing the highest quality of care for young people and adults and supporting providers to achieve this.
Steve has Ofsted registered his own children's home and has a proven track record of registering and managing ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ residential children’s homes and maintaining the highest levels of care for children and young people. A strong leader and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and cultivate productive working relationships with employees and stakeholders. Steve has significant experience in developing and implementing organisational strategies and operational plans to deliver key objectives.

Consultant
Tom is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with over 12 years’ experience working in residential care and secure settings.
Tom has held a variety of positions including Registered Home Manager, and more recently Responsible Individual supporting Ofsted registrations and new Home Managers. Throughout his career he has worked with a variety of young people with different needs such as Tier 4 step down/mental health, EBD and learning difficulties.
Tom is passionate about making a difference and being creative, holding a podcast which is supported by children in care, holding events in the community raising awareness of opportunities for children to partake in and raising participation through sport. Tom strives to create positive relationships to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children in his care and to support the adults around him to do the same.
